Excerpts
Treatment with haloperidol increased the lysosomal pH in a dose-dependent manner, an effect that was highly significant ( p < 0.0001) with doses of 10 (6.56 ± 0.24, mean ± SEM, n = 15) and 25 μM (8.18 ± 1.46), but not with 5 μM (4.21 ± 0.41) ( Figure 2 ).
From day 2 onward, the differences in lengths between induced and uninduced mutants, measured using the Metamorph integrated morphometry analysis tool, were highly significant ( P ≤ 0.0001, Fig. 5B ).
The experimental conditions exerted a highly significant overall effect on the biomarker panel (Wilks’ λ test, F(77, 115.3) = 3.518, p < 0.0001).
In the full sample (ages 40–75), the first-stage Kleibergen–Paap rk Wald F is ≈9.16 (borderline strength), yet the Anderson–Rubin and Stock–Wright weak-IV-robust tests are highly significant (p≈0.0001), indicating a positive effect of retirement on depressive symptoms under weak-IV-robust inference.
This separation is highly significant ( p < 10 −4 , permutation test, see Materials and Methods).
Assessment of total GIPR protein levels in both males and female mice reflected the mRNA findings and depicted a highly significant decline in expression from P7 to P21 ( Fig 2H and 2K , males p<0.0001, females p<0.0001). 2.5 Correlations of protein expression with glucose levels and body weight To determine a potential role or link between receptor expression in the hypothalamus and functions in physiology in development, we analyzed correlations between postnatal blood glucose and body weight in males and females combined.
The analysis and comparison of the results of OSCG with controls showed a highly significant difference, with an OR of 16.43 (CI: 5.10-52.94), p <0.0001 ( Table 2 ). - DNA-HPV at multiple sites: 67% of the HPV+ patients of OSCG had two or more positive samples.
It is evident from the table that all the paired comparisons showed highly significant difference of means ( p < 0.0001), except Group II and III ( p = 0.4573).
The difference in effect between subtypes was highly significant ( P < .0001).
Spearman’s rank correlation of DE scores revealed a modest but highly significant positive correlation (ρ = 0.199, p < 0.0001), indicating a degree of cross-species correspondence in transcriptional changes (Fig. 5 a, Table S2-3).
The stepwise backward logistic regression procedure revealed a highly significant model (model χ 2 = 720, 25 df, p < 0.0001) with the factor COUNTRY as the most significant factor (Table 3 ).
GLI1 shows a clear trend with all three tested proteins: a stronger staining of GLI1 corresponds to a stronger staining of GLI3 ( p < 0.0001), KRT16 ( p < 0.0001), and S100A7 ( p < 0.0001) proteins.
CKD Stage and Cardiac Biomarkers Concentrations There was a significant trend toward increasing plasma NT-proBNP (P < 0.0001), serum cTnT (P = 0.002), and spot urine albumin creatinine ratio (P < 0.0001) concentrations with declining estimated GFR (eGFR).
Parity ( p -value < 0.0001), menopausal status ( p -value = 0.0001), BMI ( p < 0.0001), and education ( p -value = 0.001) showed the most evident differences (Table 2 ). We found a highly significant ( p < 0.0001) lower vegetable intake among cases (mean 85.24 g/day, SD 50.62) with respect to controls (mean 112.24 g/day, SD 74.49) and a less pronounced, lower fruit intake (mean 262.87 g/day, SD 140.98 vs mean 289.35 g/day, SD 146.28), while no association was found with alcohol intake or total energy intake (Table 2 ).
The one-way ANOVA results confirmed highly significant differences ( p < 0.0001) across the median normalized log2 signal intensities in all five examined subcellular fractions, with the strongest effects observed in the endoplasmic reticulum ( p = 5.6 × 10−14, F = 1134) and mitochondria ( p = 1.8 × 10−12, F = 599), where the addition of DDM substantially increased signal intensity.
At 38 °C a similar pattern emerged; the overall predator effect was highly significant (ANOVA on the binomial generalized linear model, effect of predator treatment: LR χ 2 = 26.30, d.f. = 2, P < 0.0001; Fig. 2a ), but that was only attributable to lycosids, which caused the highest mortality, significantly different from control and pisaurid effect (contrasts: lycosid-control: z = 3.73, P = 0.0005; pisaurid-lycosid: z = −2.75, P = 0.01).
The relationship of vegetation cover to dNDMI is highly significant (p < 0.0001) in both the red-stage and gray-stage sample subset, but the slopes of the relationships are opposite. dNDMI is positively correlated to NDVI 2015 in red-stage models, indicating that lower values of dNDMI (indicating greater mortality from spruce beetle outbreak) are correlated with lower vegetation cover in 2015.
We observed that higher TSC correlated strongly with poorer outcomes and was highly significant with regard to disease progression when dichotomized at the median (median OS: 13 months vs 136, p < 0.0001 and median PFS: 5 months vs 85 months, p < 0.0001) ( Fig. 4 A and 4 B). p16-positive OPSCC have a proportionally smaller tumor stroma contact surface compared with p16-negative OPSCC We observed that the TSC was significantly higher in p16-negative OPSCC as compared to their p16-positive counterparts.
In sharp contrast to the lack of discernible directional preference in the horizontal chambers, we found that N2 dauer larvae demonstrated an enhanced and highly significant preference for upward migration in the vertical chambers under these conditions (average vertical location = +1.63, n = 4,358 worms, 12 trials; p < 0.0001, all comparisons) ( Figure 2 A and 2B).
Of the 32 datasets with highly significant changes ( P ≤ 0.0001 and |lineal fold change (FC)| ≥ 2) (Fig. 1a ; Supplementary Table S1 ), 26 (81%) presented higher levels of SMARCA4 transcript in tumor samples than in non-tumor samples.
When compared to healthy people of the same age, the proportion of peripheral immune T cells in tumor patients in the young, middle-aged, and elderly groups showed a significant trend of decline (P <0.0001), and the proportion of T cells in the tumor group gradually decreased with age (young 48.12%, middle-aged 46.09%, and elderly group 43.16%) ( Fig. 3 A ).
