Contrast efficiency showed a trend favoring the foot pedal group: 23.4±9.4 mL per vessel versus 27.4±10.4 mL per vessel in controls (P=0.226), representing a 15% reduction that did not reach statistical significance ( Table 2 ).

Among the PWE+OSA group, the low rAT subgroup showed a trend toward lower body weight (p = 0.255), lower BMI (p = 0.256), and lower NC (p = 0.124) compared to the high rAT subgroup, although these differences did not reach statistical significance.

In contrast, combination treatment with TACE + RFA showed a trend towards improved survival compared with no treatment (67.1% vs 63.3%, p=0.26, Figure 5 ) but did not reach statistical significance.

While overall survival analysis showed a trend toward poorer outcomes in the high-expression group, this difference did not reach statistical significance ( P = 0.265; Fig. 4 B).

In contrast, cortical arterioles in infant mice showed only a slight trend toward dilation (113.0 ± 1.6%, P = 0.27, at 15 min), which did not reach statistical significance compared to awake conditions.

Outcomes In our analysis, ivabradine showed a numerical trend toward lower all-cause mortality compared to metoprolol, with a pooled odds ratio of 0.52 (95%CI: 0.17-1.64; P = 0.27), although this difference did not reach statistical significance.

Although Yoga also showed a favorable trend (SMD = −0.91, 95% CI: −2.51 to −0.70), the result did not reach statistical significance ( p = 0.27).

Age showed a trend toward lower odds of forensic exam being offered with increasing age (AOR 0.96, 95% CI, 0.89–1.03, P = .27), although this did not reach statistical significance.

Although an increasing trend was observed in GNRI levels from Q1 to Q3, this change did not reach statistical significance ( p = 0.285).

Although the normalized rEMG of RF showed a trend toward increasing 10 min after exercise, the change did not reach statistical significance ( p = 0.291 ).

Despite a numerical trend towards lower values (higher sensitivity) in the High IgG group, this difference did not reach statistical significance ( p = 0.301).

While overall melatonin levels showed a trend toward reduction from 74.88 to 59.80 pg/mL (p=0.313), and afternoon melatonin concentrations decreased from 120.34 to 71.07 pg/mL (p=0.130), these changes did not reach statistical significance.

However, although CDAI also showed a decreasing trend (MD = −3.71, 95% CI [−11.35 to 3.93], P = 0.34; I 2 = 66%), this change did not reach statistical significance ( Table 3 ).

In contrast, the percentage of core involvement in the septum exhibited a positive trend (mean coefficient β = 5.05%; 95% CI, − 5.64 to 15.73%) relative to DCM, which, did not reach statistical significance ( p = 0.345). z -score analysis of CMR signal intensities across myocardial locations and layers Table 4 details the regression analysis of CMR signal intensity z -scores across various myocardial wall locations (anterior wall, lateral wall, inferior wall, and septum) and layers (sub-endocardium, mid-myocardium, and sub-epicardium) in patients diagnosed with DCM vs. those with cardiac sarcoidosis.

There was a small trend towards prolongation of the PQ interval after ablation, which did not reach statistical significance (n = 5, p = 0.35; Figure 2H ).

Subgroup analyses Patients after OHCA (Additional file 1 : Table S4) showed a trend towards higher 30-day mortality rate when treated with balanced crystalloids group that did not reach statistical significance (53.2% vs 46.7%, p = 0.356, Fig. 4 A).

The DBD, which contains the principal DNA-binding apparatus essential for RAD51-mediated HR, demonstrated a numerical trend toward higher representation in HR+/HER2− (30.8%, 16/52) than TNBC (17.6%, 3/17; OR = 0.48, raw p = 0.36; and FDR-adjusted p = 1.00); however, this did not reach statistical significance.

Although the lifestyle score in this study showed a positive trend with the risk of secondary GJO, it did not reach statistical significance ( P = 0.368).

Although sarcopenia assessed by PMI showed a positive trend with postoperative major complications [ 18 , 28 , 30 , 31 , 42 , 44 ], it did not reach statistical significance (OR: 1.08, 95% CI 0.72–1.61, P = 0.373, I 2 = 58.3%).

Interestingly, while hospital-wide clinical volume showed a positive trend with NSIs occurrences, it did not reach statistical significance as an independent predictor in the multivariable environment (IRR = 0.47, p = 0.386), suggesting that setting-specific factors and pandemic-related phase shifts were the primary drivers of risk fluctuations. 3.2.2.

A slight trend of correlation was noted for ALT (R 2 = 0.3641, p = 0.3966), but this did not reach statistical significance ( Figure 4A ).

Although the inhibitor‐treated mice had a decreasing trend in the association frequency compared to control animals, this did not reach statistical significance ( p = 0.464).

In addition, plasma CTHRC1 showed statistically significant positive correlation with RF (ρ = 0.596, p < 0.0001, Figure 5E and Table 1S ) and ACPA (ρ = 0.35, p = 0.008, Figure 5F and Table 1S ), but not with ESR, which exhibited a negative trend that did not reach statistical significance (ρ = −0.088, p = 0.512, Figure 5D ; Table 1S ).

Notably, while CSF YKL-40 levels in AD patients showed an increasing trend compared to MCI patients, this difference did not reach statistical significance ( p = 0.53).

The study also showed a trend towards a reduction in myocardial infarction (hazard ratio 0.86, 95% CI: 0.50–1.46, P = 0.57), which did not reach statistical significance probably due to the small number of events that did not ensure adequate statistical power.
