Although not statistically significant, MPA patients showed a trend towards an increased risk of thromboembolic events (pulmonary embolism: HR 1.16, 95% CI 1.01 -1.33; deep vein thrombosis: HR 1.17, 95% CI 1.03-1.32) and the risk of heart failure compared to GPA (HR 1.15, 95% 1.03-1.27) ( Figure 3 ).
Excerpts
In particular, NDUFA11 exhibited a substantial difference, whereas NDUFS1 , OXSM , LRPPRC , and NUBPL exhibited highly significant differences.
Compared with NaHS treatment, CaS NPs showed a trend toward improved neurological outcomes, reduced infarct volume, and better preservation of neuronal structure; however, this comparison was exploratory.
This was not observed for bipolar pulses, where B cell percentages showed an increasing trend but did not reach statistical significance.
In this context, the observed changes in the expression of these proteins may be significant for understanding susceptibility to E. caproni infection, particularly in relation to the development of Th1-type immune responses and a lack of responsiveness to IL-25.
Although the combination group showed an apparent trend toward superiority over the monotherapy groups, not all differences reached statistical significance.
showed that five branched-chain and aromatic amino acids (isoleucine, leucine, valine, tyrosine, and phenylalanine) had highly significant associations with future diabetes, with a combination of three amino acids predicting future diabetes with more than fivefold higher risk for individuals in the top quartile ( 11 ).
Consistent with the in silico model, silencing SLC1A3 in vitro triggered a dramatic, highly significant downregulation of the entire predicted perivascular interactome ( Figure 5G ).
We further gated pro-B cells, memory B cells, and plasma B cells; however, the numbers of these cells did not increase but instead showed a decreasing trend ( Figures 4c, d ; Supplementary Figure S11 ).

These results indicate a marked improvement in skin lesions, significant pain relief, and a clear trend of clinical symptom amelioration within one month.
Notably, under STZ conditions, Module 1 showed a trend toward increased activity in Cluster 0, and Module 6 was similarly elevated in Cluster 1, indicating that these two modules are preferentially activated within distinct Müller substates during STZ-induced DR and may contribute to STZ-associated remodeling.
Although the statistical differences were not significant, CD14 + monocytes displayed an increasing trend in MG samples compared with controls ( Figure 2C ; Supplementary Figure 3 ).
On the other hand, tocilizumab has demonstrated efficacy in the treatment of acute GVHD ( 40 ), and, in a phase III trial, showed a nonsignificant trend toward lower incidence of grade II-IV aGVHD In the HLA-matched unrelated donor transplant setting ( 41 ).
A platelet count ≥100×10 9 /L, aspartate aminotransferase < 80 U/L, lactate dehydrogenase <500 U/L, and receipt of anti-tumor therapy showed a trend toward better survival but did not reach statistical significance ( P = 0.086, P = 0.075, P = 0.059, and P = 0.080, respectively).
Although adpgk expression showed an increasing trend in trained cells, it was not significantly affected by primary training or secondary stimulation.
However, dnmt1 showed a trend of lower expression in LPS-stimulated groups.
The two resulting subtypes (Subgroup 1 and Subgroup 2) were visually well-separated in the dimensionality reduction projection ( Figure 1G ) and exhibited a highly significant difference in overall survival ( Figure 1H ), with patients in Subgroup 2 experiencing markedly better outcomes.
The TIGIT + CD226 - fraction showed a trend toward higher values under RTX ( Figure 6C ), but this did not reach significance after multiplicity correction ( Supplementary Table 1A ).
Patients who received antibiotics showed a trend toward shorter overall survival compared with those who did not ( Figure 3A ); however, the difference was not statistically significant (median OS: 24.5 months vs. 17.0 months, p = 0.2).
CCRT-IO also significantly improved OS in pairwise meta-analyses, but this benefit did not reach statistical significance in the NMA, although a favorable trend was observed.
For all variables that were either statistically significant or showed a trend toward, marginal effects were calculated to quantify the absolute change in the predicted probability of intestinal involvement associated with the presence or absence of the given characteristic.
Variables with posterior probabilities above 95% were considered to show a trend toward significance.
CD8+ T cell infiltration showed a decreasing trend in the VASN−high group, although this did not reach statistical significance (p = 0.065) ( Figure 9J ).
However, a minority of studies have reported no significant difference in peripheral blood Treg frequency compared with healthy controls ( 16 ), and some have even suggested an increasing trend, which may be related to heterogeneity in study populations, disease stage, and detection methods ( 17 ).
In univariable Cox regression analysis, high B7-H3 expression was significantly associated with inferior OS and showed a trend toward worse EFS ( Table 2 ).
