Baseline IL-6 showed a trend toward higher levels in the ≥3-session group (305.5 pg/mL, IQR 53.2–1306.3) than in the 1-session (143.1 pg/mL) or 2-session (37.0 pg/mL) groups ( p = 0.056), while baseline CRP and comorbidities such as diabetes, hypertension, obesity, and COPD were similarly distributed (all p > 0.28).
Finally, WW patients perceived lower levels of complications or treatment sequelae (item 3), although this difference was of borderline significance (2.88 vs. 2.28; p = 0.056).
This trend remained marginally significant when exercise posts were excluded (N = 24; W = 83.0, p = 0.056), suggesting that increased PD engagement was not solely attributable to fitness discussions.
In contrast, analysis of venous events ( Table 4 ) showed a near-significant trend for lower creatinine ( p = 0.056) and significantly higher platelet counts in COVID-19 patients.
However, in our study population, PaCO 2 was lower at altitude, indicating an increased ventilation mainly due to a higher respiratory rate (tendency towards a higher breathing rate compared to NH with a borderline significance-level ( p = 0.056)).
Moreover, right ventricular IL-1R2 mRNA levels were elevated in MCS patients by a strong trend ( p = 0.056), while left ventricular expression remained unaffected ( p = 0.540).
Meanwhile, social life showed a marginally significant difference ( p = 0.056), and the other three domains showed no significant difference between the two groups.
Transfusion after surgery was more frequently required in patients with low preoperative HGS, and it approached the borderline of significance (48.8 vs. 35.9%, p = 0.056).
In addition, αT, the main vitamin E form involved in the thiol redox cycle, which involves recycling GSH intracellular concentrations [ 35 ], showed a trend toward a reduction in MVP patients at baseline compared to controls ( p = 0.056— Table 3 ).
When examining the issue of ovarian reserve recovery, they noted a borderline significant recovery in the unilateral OMA group ( p = 0.056), whereas some recovery, but not significant, was noted in the bilateral group ( p = 0.698).
In this model, infection remained borderline significant (OR 1.80; 95% CI 0.98–3.30; p = 0.056), whereas cancer and malnutrition were not statistically significant.
In the redo-SAVR cohort, 47.6% required concomitant procedures and ~26% presented with endocarditis, contributing to a higher EuroSCORE II that narrowly missed significance ( p = 0.056) [ 14 ].
Although pathological stage and perineural invasion showed a borderline significant relationship with DFS, these relationships did not reach statistical significance ( p = 0.056 and p = 0.059, respectively).
It is worth noting that excluding Soukiasian (2012) [ 3 ] resulted in a borderline significant reduction in morbidity (OR: 0.7843, p = 0.0564) with complete elimination of heterogeneity (I 2 = 0%), suggesting this study may be a source of heterogeneity.
The median ICU LOS amongst survivors dropped from 5.85 days (IQR: 3.00–11.58) to 5.07 days (IQR: 2.59–9.22), reaching borderline significance ( p = 0.0565).
When considering the dialysis modality, the first three pandemic waves resulted in a nearly significant ( p = 0.0567) higher susceptibility associated with hemodialysis treatment (132 cases out of 1027, 12.8%) compared to peritoneal dialysis (4 cases out of 81, 4.9%).
CF cases carrying any SERPINA1 mutation showed a numerical increase in the number of mild exacerbations close to significance (10.7 (9.7) vs. 13.1 (12.1); p = 0.057), with no difference in severe exacerbations (2.1 (4.1) vs. 2.3 (3.1); p = 0.415) over the follow-up.
A history of chronic hypertension was notably more prevalent in the Preeclampsia group (33.3%) compared to the Normotensive group (17.7%), showing a strong trend toward significance ( p = 0.057).
Regarding operative efficiency, the reduction in median console time from 135.0 min in Phase 1 to 100.0 min in Phase 2 showed a strong trend toward statistical significance ( p = 0.057).
The relationship between treatment type and tumor size approached significance but did not reach the conventional threshold, p = 0.057; the effect size was V = 0.36.
The time × condition effect was marginally significant for reactive aggression ( p = 0.057), with more improvement in the MCP group than in the CP group.
