Rs16923760, which associates with AD risk in a Caribbean-Hispanic series (OR = 0.74) [6] , is in LD with rs4746648 (D’ = 1.0, r2 = 0.01) that has nominally significant AD risk association in our combined cohort (p = 0.02, OR = 0.86).
Excerpts
Combined effect between CD14 rs2569190 and delivery mode has a significant trend P-value (P = 0.02).
Estimates of genealogical sorting index (gsi) were highly significant (all p-values < 0.02) for each nuclear locus across all six evolutionary units as defined by phylogenetic inferences and Bayesian clustering analysis, and across loci within those units, ranging from 0.55 to 1.0, and from 0.89 to 1.0, respectively ( Table 3 ).
We next looked for genes that did not meet these criteria for significance on either platform, but that were marginally significant for both of them (p>0.02 and <0.14; absolute t score<4.5 and >2 with both t scores displaying the same direction).
A total of 603 TT and 5 TC carriers were identified in the patient group, resulting in an association with marginal significance (P = 0.02), which does not survive the multiple test corrections.
The difference between groups GV (87%) and V (53%) was marginally significant (corrected α = 0.017, Z = 1.99, P = 0.02), though the difference between groups G (67%) and V (53%) was non-significant ( Z = 0.74, P = 0.23), and the difference between groups GV (87%) and G (67%) was not significant either ( Z = 1.29, P = 0.09).
E1 demonstrated a moderately significant correlation with E2 (r = 0.445, p = 0.020), E3 (r = 0.501, p = 0.008) and E4 (r = 0.484, p = 0.011) ( Fig 2 ).
In addition, a significant trend (Mantel-Haenszel X 2 : 5.1; degree of freedom (df): 1; P = 0.02) was observed between increasing GBS colonization frequencies and higher levels of cattle exposure.
Moreover, there was a significant trend of birds molting during the non-normal months between 2000 and 2006 ( Fig. 2 , trend, p = 0.02), whereas no trend existed before 2000.
Interestingly, a decreasing trend in NRTI TDR was also observed in LAC (4.7% vs. 3.8%, p = 0.02), possibly reflecting previous exposure to mono- or dual therapy and the consequent introduction of more potent ART schemes.
From the quantitative data of lids, seven out of nine aWCDs were lower than the mean and median values of the aBCDs and aSLDs ( S1B Fig ), and the difference between aWCDs and aBCDs was marginally significant ( P -value = 0.02; S1C Fig .
The effect of NO 3 and the interaction between NO 3 and OE were insignificant, but the difference in mean survival between heated tanks with and without OE was marginally significant (t 15 = –2.63, P = 0.020).
A marginally significant difference between males and females ( F 1,36 = 6.37, p = 0.02) was identified, with males having on average, higher post-participation Overall Health scores when adjusting for pre-participation score, age, diagnosis and military service era.
Here, we found a significant increase for the POST group compared to the RELAX group (t(52) = 4.86; d = 1.3, p<.01) and a marginally significant change for the SIM group compared to the RELAX group (t(52) = 2.43; d = 0.67, p = .02).
Significant or marginally significant associations were observed at the marker rs11629841 with children's orthographic judgments at ages 7 and 8 years (all P values<0.020).

As this relationship showed a trend ( p = 0.02), one should consider this finding with caution.
An increasing trend in annual positivity was significant only for big brown bats ( P = 0.02), and was circumstantially linked to a geographic cluster.
In contrast, for headings 30°, 60°, and 90°, the improvement was either significant or approaching significance (p = 0.02, p = 0.12, p = 0.04, respectively; paired t-test).
This association remained marginally significant with multivariate logistic regression; OR 1.0 (95%CI; 1.0–1.1, P = 0.02) ( Table 3 ).
As predicted, the presence of subtitles facilitates accent adaptation compared to exposure without subtitles: participants in the Concurrent and Delayed subtitle condition transcribed words more accurately during test than participants in the Absent condition without subtitles with marginal significance ( β ^ = 0.078 , z = 2.34, p < 0.02).
However, moderately significant linear relationships were detected between bleaching (loss of Chl a ) and chronic photodamage (reduced F v / F m ) in both H. depressa (R 2 = 0.532, p = 0.020) and M. vertebralis (R 2 = 0.300, p = 0.034) (data not shown).
However, when computing the model with experience of a MEE and verbal IQ (variance 32.6%, controlled for age and parents education level), a positive trend between an enriched environment and verbal intelligence scores, β = 0.285 ( p = 0.02, Table 3 ; Fig 1 ), was revealed.
There were weakly significant decreases from baseline of glycerophosphocholine for both the FO (log 2 FC -0.12 ± 0.05; P = 0.02) and FO+MCT (log 2 FC -0.18 ± 0.07; P = 0.02) groups.
While TDR remained stable throughout the study period, clinically relevant resistance to first line drugs showed a significant trend to a decline (p = 0.02).
In oxygenated tumor cells acidosis caused highly significant decreases in LPR (in fmol/cell/min) from 13.6±3.8 to -0.03±0.30 (P = 0.02) and from 1.2±0.3 to -0.6±0.6 (P = 0.01) in FaDu DD and SiHa cells, respectively, suggesting that acidosis minimizes or even reverts the lactate flux ( Fig 5 ).
