The phenotypic variance explained by considering all imputed and genotyped SNPs for first visit measurement of blood pressure (V1) was 0.20 in EA (se = 0.03, P = 3.2x10 -10 ) and 0.49 in AA (se = 0.13, P = 7.9x10 -4 ) for SBP, and 0.27 in EA (se = 0.03, P = 5.2 x10 -11 ) and 0.37 in AA (se = 0.12, P = 3.9 x10 -5 ) for DBP: these were all highly significant estimates (Tables 2 and 3 ).

In contrast to former findings [ 45 ], we did not detect an increase in full caspase-9 transcript levels upon administration of RA, BMP-4 or RA/BMP-4 double treatment ( S10 Fig ), however, observed a highly significant increase in caspase-9 cleavage activity following RA and BMP-4 administration, which was further increased by RA/BMP-4 double treatment.
When further examining how the spring carbon balance responds to temperature changes for wet and dry years respectively, we find that much higher temperature sensitivity of net spring CO 2 uptake (in absolute values) is observed during wet years (-1.05 ppm·°C -1 , p = 0.08) than dry years (-0.43 ppm·°C -1 , p = 0.09; Fig 2 ), although the correlations between the net spring CO 2 uptake and temperature are marginally significant for both.
In addition, a nominally significant increase in the expression of several miRNAs was found in the 22q11.2 neurons that were previously found to be differentially expressed in autopsy samples and peripheral blood in SZ and autism spectrum disorders (e.g., miR-34, miR-4449, miR-146b-3p, and miR-23a-5p).
This finding as well as the near-significant relationship between PBF and delayed monetary reward discounting in non-obese women makes it tempting to speculate that non-obese women with relatively high body fat percentage, as observed here with monetary reward, may tend to consume foods that are easily accessible (more certain and more immediate) such as fast food relative to healthier meals that require time to plan and prepare.
