Analysis of the abdominal and lumbar paraspinal muscles in the same field of view (FOV) as the diaphragmatic crura also showed a trend toward lower mean T1 values in LOPD patients (abdominal muscles 858.06 ± 405.05 ms; paraspinal muscles 851.02 ± 397.83 ms) when compared to controls (abdominal muscles 1185.16 ± 172.24 ms; paraspinal muscles 1157.85 ± 39.91 ms) (LOPD vs. controls: abdominal muscles, p = 0.28 and paraspinal muscles, p = 0.05) (Figure 5 ).
In all patients, the myocardial markers (e.g., CK, r = 0.625; CKMB, r = 0.476; AST, r = 0.401 and LDH, r = 0.528; all P < 0.05) and certain inflammatory markers (e.g., WBC, r = 0.557; NEU, r = 0.270; NLR, r = 0.349; and MON, r = 0.407; all P < 0.05) exhibited an positive correlation with the eSCORE-CARD values, while other variables (e.g., TyG, r = − 0.290; basophil count [BAS], r = − 0.309; and high density lipoprotein cholesterol [HDL-C], r = − 0.246; all P < 0.05) showed a trend of negative correlation (Fig. 5 E).
In terms of the age of patients with onset of disease, both the sIAD group and the non-IAD IS group showed a trend toward younger age relative to the ICH group, yet the sIAD group did not show heterogeneity in ORs compared to the non-IAD IS group in terms of age, as has been found in previous large-scale studies [ 20 , 25 ], which may be related to the small size of our sample.
The fit indices for the five-factor model had already markedly decreased (CFI = 0.622, TLI = 0.776, RMSEA = 0.116), and the more simplified models showed a trend of further deterioration, with the single-factor model yielding the worst fit (CFI = 0.453, TLI = 0.419).
Patients in cohort 1 with poor prognostic factors (older age, high GGG, low Hb, and elevated LDH) showed a trend towards earlier decline in OS than those in cohort 2B, which may indicate that caution is required when cohort 1 treatment is selected for patients with poor prognostic factors.
