Independent validation by RT-qPCR of six monocyte/macrophage-related genes ( MMP12 , TREM2 , ITGA2 , CAPG , F13A1 , and LGALS3 ) and western blot analysis of two markers ( TREM2 and CCR2 ) in clinical and murine cohorts recapitulated these expression trends, demonstrating an increasing trend during ACLF progression ( Figures 7C–E ).
These findings indicated that patients with a high CALLY index experienced a consistently slower decline in HRQoL throughout treatment, with this protective effect reaching borderline significance as early as week 12 and becoming statistically significant from week 18 onward ( Table 2 ). 4 Discussion The management of advanced CCA remains a clinical challenge.
Despite not reaching statistical significance ( p = 0.078), SsM18 supplementation showed a strong trend toward reducing the risk of belonging to the ‘Rapid-Onset, Severe’ trajectory (odds ratio [OR] = 0.34, 95% CI: 0.10–1.10).
However, all three neutrophil proteins were detectable in sputum and showed a trend for increased levels in asymptomatic TB cases compared to community controls, although this was not statistically significant ( Figure 4B ), and was not affected by method of TB diagnosis (not shown). 4 Discussion We investigated the potential of measuring sputum neutrophil proteins as a pre- screening test prior to expensive and time-consuming TB testing.
29.49 ± 6.03, P < 0.001) at M6, the 24-h urinary protein levels showed no significant statistical difference at M6 ( P = 0.379) and M12 ( P = 0.714) ( Tables 2 , 3 ) Both the CTX and RTX groups showed a decreasing trend in proteinuria over the 12-month treatment period, while serum albumin levels exhibited an increasing trend ( Supplementary Figure S1 ).
