on Caucasians from the Portuguese population showed a trend toward increased risk of thyroid cancer for people who are homozygous for the RAD51 rs180132 polymorphic allele variant (adjusted OR = 1.9; 95% CI = 1.0–3.5; p = 0.057) [ 44 ].
On day 29, the number of PAM cells was non-significantly decreased in cd 1 relative to the wild type strain, while the decrease of PPL1 cell number was nearly significant ( p = 0.057).
The RALPB1 rs12680 allele C (OR 2.05; 0.97–4.32; p = 0.057; result at borderline significance) and premenopausal age (OR 2.92; 1.11–7.65; p = 0.028) were correlated with a higher risk of early vomiting ( Table 5 ).
No significant associations were observed for the remaining 40 genes ( p ˃ 0.05 for all genes, Table 1 ), although a statistical trend was noted between lower ADAMTS13 mRNA expression and VI-positive samples ( p = 0.057), tested by Mann–Whitney U test).
The difference in the expression levels of HE4 -V2 and -V3 in grade 3 EC compared to normal endometrium were of borderline significance ( p = 0.057, p = 0.067, respectively).
We observed a positive correlation between DNA methylation levels of the promoter region overlapping the CpG island and mRNA expression levels of HOMER1A (r = 0.889, p -value < 0.001) and a statistical trend was found for HOMER1 B/C (r = 0.741, p -value = 0.057).
Longitudinal Changes in Plasma Aβ Concentrations Employing the Ultrasensitive Simoa Technology Longitudinal analyses revealed that Aβ1-40 concentrations decreased over time (T1 to T2) with a trend towards significance ( p = 0.057), before adjusting for covariates, age, sex and APOE ε4 genotype, wherein pairwise comparisons showed significantly decreased mean plasma Aβ1-40 concentrations in MCs ( p = 0.045, Table 3 ).
RVS, the positive control, differed significantly from the LPS group on path length on day 1 (mean difference 403 cm, p = 0.021, g = 1.94) and day 4 (mean difference 251 cm, p = 0.004, g = 2.19), and showed near-significant separation from the LPS group on day 4 escape latency ( p = 0.057).
In cycles with a lower proportion of top-quality blastocysts on day 5 (TQD5 < 50%, n = 751), the mean SDF was 16.41 ± 10.56, while in cycles with TQD5 ≥ 50% ( n = 119), it was slightly lower at 14.60 ± 9.05, showing a trend toward significance ( p = 0.057).
Hemoglobin level showed a trend to an increase (10%, p = 0.057) in the RT only group and a significant increase in the RT plus losartan group compared to the control group ( Table 2 ).
For results categorized into low or high expression based on the ROC analysis score, Kaplan–Meier analysis indicated that patients with low snoRNA score expression showed a trend toward improved disease-free survival (DFS), albeit not significant (HR = 3.012, 95% 0.92–9.92, p = 0.057) ( Figure 4 C) and better overall survival (HR = 4.067, 95% 1.06 0.92–9.92, p = 0.038) ( Figure 4 D). 3.
Furthermore, the expression levels of all miRNAs were positively correlated with reduced cardiac output, with miR-378-3p showing marginal significance ( p -value = 0.057) ( Table 1 ).
We observed an increase in the nuclear, but not the cytoplasmic IHC staining for MAT1A (Mean: 0.966 ± 0.42) compared to those whose prior treatment status was listed as “not reported” (Mean: 0.6468 ± 0.3568) or those previously treated with BCG (Mean: 0.6475 ± 0.454); this difference was not quite significant ( p = 0.0572), likely due to insufficient statistical power from a limited sample size ( Figure 3 C).
Curves of the cumulative breast cancer incidence also showed a considerably earlier age at breast cancer onset of CC patients, which was of borderline significance ( p = 0.058, log-rank test; Figure 1 B). 3.
The slope analysis showed that the positive association between childhood maltreatment and irrational beliefs was significant in the AG genotype ( p < 0.001) but not in the GG genotype ( p = 0.426); the association just fell short of significance in the AA genotype ( p = 0.058) ( Figure 2 D).
Similarly, although with borderline significance, a higher CTC number (>6) was able to identify patients with a better OS (HR: 0.47; 95% CL = 0.22–1.03; p -value = 0.058).
Mean levels of IL-6 and IL-15 were also higher with a borderline significance in VAT of MS patients (4.07 vs. 1.43 ng per 1 mg of total protein, p = 0.058 for IL-6 and 0.063 vs. 0.043 ng per 1 mg of total protein, p = 0.07 for IL-15). 3.
