We then compared this pulmonary endothelial cell PAH network with the previously described human PAH disease module inclusive of 357 genes ( 19 , 23 , 24 ) and found a highly significant overlap between these 2 networks ( P < 1.04 × 10 –9 ) ( Supplemental Figure 3D ) as well as between the pulmonary endothelial in inflammatory PAH with other inflammatory (positive control) diseases in the human interactome ( Supplemental Table 2 ).
This overlap was highly significant ( P = 1.05 × 10 −9 , hypergeometric test), suggesting QKI directly regulates APA of this subset of mRNAs ( Figures 2A and 1B ).
1 ; interestingly, we found that this enrichment for low-specificity sgRNAs was less pronounced but remained highly significant ( p = 1.1e−9, Fisher’s exact test), showing that the signature of off-target effects can be disguised in noisy screens.
Block H1.2 was highly significant in Stage 2 data ( p = 1.12 × 10 –9 ), while both blocks H1.1 and H1.3 were nominally significant ( p < 0.002 and p < 0.0003, respectively).
The OPLS‐DA identified one highly significant model (CV‐ANOVA p = 1.13177e−09) separating the groups (Figure 1A ).
Both of these metabolites were correlated with previous targeted measured blood triglycerides showing a highly significant association (r = 0.511; p = 1.2E-9) and (r = 0.348; p = 6.8E-5), respectively.
6 ) and this was highly significant for the proapoptotic targets BAX an d PUMA ( p = 1.2 × 10 −9 and p = 1.8 × 10 −14 , respectively).
Moreover, surgical intervention occurred earlier in patients without osteolysis compared to patients with osteolysis (median 11.5 months compared to 72 months when duration since the primary prosthetic joint replacement was considered, and 2.5 versus 36 months since the last surgical intervention; the differences are highly significant with p = 1.2 × 10 −9 and p = 1.6 × 10 −13 , respectively).
3 c pattern, the separations between data-point distributions for all nearest-neighbor pairs of pre -transition States are highly significant in one or both of the ΔHbO 2 Sat ( p = 1.2 × 10 −9 –9.3 × 10 −4 ) or ΔtotalHb ( p = 5.5 × 10 −5 –4.3 × 10 −4 ) dimensions.
The high frequency of the correlation of the known causative gene with the overall LGMD2 gene set is highly significant relative to the mean number of genes (n = 72) in each 6 Mb interval (p-value = 1.24e-09).
A highly significant correlation was found between the spontaneous tumor incidence and urethane-induced tumor multiplicity phenotypes (r = 0.94, −log P = 8.9), whereas correlation between the spontaneous tumor incidence and urethane-induced tumor incidence phenotypes was weaker (r = 0.76, −log P = 3.8) ( Figure 1 ).
This analysis revealed a highly significant Treatment × Block interaction (F(5,352) = 10.729, p = 1.30 × 10 − 9), indicating that freezing dynamics across experimental blocks differed as a function of treatment condition.
Geographic source was determined to be a nonsignificant factor for the expression level of the biomarkers ( p = 0.11), whereas arsenic exposure was determined to be a highly significant factor ( p = 1.3 × 10 −9 ).
The ancestry-enrichment test detected highly significant signals ( P = 1.3 × 10 −9 ) mapping MAK16 , a gene with important roles in ribosome biogenesis during the G1 phase of the cell cycle.
A model combining these three variants was highly significant ( P =1.3 × 10 −9 ) with a 0.85 effect size between lowest and highest risk groups.
This means we found a 7.5-fold under-representation of CTCF sites in the differentially methylated loci (0.2% in differentially methylated fragments vs 1.5% in all fragments), which was highly significant ( p < 1.3e-09 by Proportional Test).
