However, it is worth noting that years of CI use showed a trend towards significance for the late deaf CI recipients (r = −0.57, n = 10, p = 0.09), in that reaction times to tactile stimuli tend to get faster the longer the CI recipients has worn his implant.
Although absolute numbers of circulating CD4 + T cells only showed a trend towards increased levels ( Figure 1a, p = 0.09), we observed a 2.3-fold increase in the proportion of activated CD44 hi CD62L − effector/memory cells among CD4 + T cells in blood of Ldlr −/− Pd1 −/− mice ( Figure 1b ).
There was no difference in age (U = 29, p = 0.12) or presence of abnormal T2W imaging (U = 47, p = 0.27), but % LGE showed a trend towards increase in subjects with reduced LVEF (U = 73, p = 0.09).
Under a random-effects allelic model, there was marginally significant increased risk of sarcoidosis for -307A allele among Caucasians (OR=1.25; 95% CI: 0.96-1.62; P=0.09) but not among Asians (OR=2.12; 95% CI: 0.31-14.27; P=0.44).
AbDv was smaller in the Practice Group (2057.34±249.07) compared with the No-Practice Group (2903.38±207.24) (p<.05) and it showed a tendency to decrease between day of pre- and post-test which was marginally significant (3575.16±297.21 to 1385.56±95.98) (p = .09).
As in Study 1, Caucasian impressions showed above-chance accuracy: r = .24, p = .019, N = 100, 95% CI: .04 to .40 ( Table 4 ; the non-parametric correlation was marginally significant: tau = .13, p = .090).
Patients with delayed graft function showed higher urinary calprotectin levels, however that difference was only marginally significant (819 ng/mL; IQR 346 to 2627 ng/mL; vs. 522 ng/mL; IQR, 262 to 1308 ng/mL; P = 0.09).
[13] , [36] , [37] The borderline significant interaction between family history and maternal folic acid supplement use (p = 0.09) provides some further support for this.
MAP2 levels showed a trend towards significance in the frontal cortex among the four cohorts (ANOVA p = 0.09, Figure 6B ) with increased MAP2 levels in MN-treated, short-term depleted animals compared untreated animals.
We found a marginally significant trend for sites predicted using the −7 kcal/mol threshold to improve on sites predicted using the 0 kcal/mol threshold (P-value = 0.09, Methods ).
Also, a nearly significant effect of Frame emerged, F (1, 70) = 2.86; p < .09, η 2 = .05 with more negative attitudes in the strategic avoidance framing ( M = -.402, SD = .25), than in the strategic approach framing ( M = -.319, SD = .22).
Similarly, CRHBP mRNA levels were decreased in the PFC of LPS-treated animals, approaching significance ( p = .09), significantly decreased in the hypothalamus ( F (1,10) = 19.24, p <.001), but significantly increased in the hippocampal region ( F (1,10) = 6.04, p <.05), see Fig. 4b, 4e and 4g , respectively.
For both the daily difference score and recall after one day models, there was a marginally significant difference between the overall in-vivo score model compared to the individual drink in-vivo scores model ( p = 0.09).
When all participants were combined, the differences in overall satisfaction rating favoring the iPad approached significance (p = .09, Wilcoxon signed-ranks test).
In the UW plots, total soil respiratory C release was relatively higher with additional C 4 materials (5661 μg g −1 ) than with C 3 materials (5448 μg g −1 ) with marginal significance (p = 0.09), even though C 3 plant materials had a higher quality with a lower C:N ratio ( Fig. 2 ).
The cut-point for Spry2 expression were calculated as described in the Materials and Methods , such that as well as showing high significance for difference in survival (p = 0.0069; Figure 5B ), the cutpoint for Spry2 expression also maintained near significance with Monte Carlo simulations (p = 0.09) and correction for type I error (Miller-Seigmund p value = 0.12).
In that regard, although I agree with most of the Reviewer's suggestions, I must disagree with the one regarding the interpretation of near-significant results(Table 2, p=0,09).
The effect of black race was of borderline significance (p = 0.09), with an effect similar to that of diabetes (although the latter was not significant in the multivariable analysis).
1.5%; p<0.001), which is consistent with the results of the SYNTAX trial, showing a significant trend toward higher incidence of stroke in surgical patients (3.7% vs 2.4%; p = 0.09) [ 17 ].
