By contrast, dmPFC encoded model-based confidence estimates on both trial types: activity decreased with confidence on other-trials, but increased with confidence on self-trials, although the effect on self-trials did not reach statistical significance (c-HRF regression; confidence on other-trials, t (20) = −2.67, p = 0.015; confidence on self-trials, t (20) = 1.79, p = 0.089).

Within the Roopkund_A group which has ancestry that falls within the variation of present-day South Asians, we observe a weakly significant difference in the proportion of West Eurasian-related ancestry in males and females ( p = 0.015 by a permutation test across individuals; Supplementary Note 8 ), with systematically lower proportions of West Eurasian-related ancestry in males than females.
There is only a weak, marginally significant negative correlation between the level of resistance and fitness cost (Supplementary Fig. 1 , Spearman’s rho = −0.24, P = 0.016 ( N = 98)), and this correlation becomes non-significant after controlling for drug type ( P = 0.6 and P = 0.39 for antibiotics ( N = 60) and AMPs ( N = 38) respectively, Spearman’s correlation).
For example, ARID1A , which is part of the ATP-dependent chromatin remodeling complex SNF/SWI, was associated with sensitivity to topotecan, a DNA topoisomerase I inhibitor, in STAD ( P BH = 1.68 × 10 −3 ) and nominally significant in UCEC (raw P = 0.016).
The considered measures of epigenetic AgeAccel exhibit nominally significant positive correlations with motor progression (e.g., r = 0.08, meta-analysis p = 0.016 for the pan-tissue clock; Supplementary Table 8 and Supplementary Fig. 7 ).

After controlling for the mean pure-tone threshold at speech-relevant frequencies, activity in the left POp and preCG/postCG showed a trend of correlation with accuracy in older adults (partial r =0.604 and 0.612, uncorrected P =0.017 and 0.015, respectively, FDR-corrected P >0.05).
The interaction between genotype and LER over time was highly significant (two-way mixed model, P =0.0175, n =3), as well as the interaction between genotype and division zone size over time (two-way ANOVA, P =0.021, n =3).
We found a nominally significant association of the stop-gain variant (T allele) with lower grip strength (additive: β =−0.062 kg, P =0.018) ( Supplementary Table 9 ) although we found no evidence for any departure from an additive genetic model at this locus ( P domdev = 0.72; Supplementary Fig. 5 ).

Bacteria of the genus Coprococcus and family Ruminococcaceae showed a trend toward an increase in abundance following naproxen treatment ( P = 0.018, P = 0.022, FDR = 0.25, 0.25; Fig. 4A, B ).
In addition, a marginally significant potential hotspot (E132; three mutations, p = 0.018) is located in the α-helix between two amino acid motifs (G4, NKXD and G5, EXSAK) that are important for binding the guanine base of the nucleotide 32 .
5d and Table S13 ) indicate that, among the three traits, only whole-body fat-free mass has a nominally significant causal effect on UL risk ( p = 0.018) and, thus, support the original findings.

The full canonical model between the neural activity and the face feature space was significant in P1, P3, and P4 and approached significance in P2 (P1: Χ 2 (171)=211.33, Wilks’ λ=.021, p=.019; P2: Χ 2 (152)=181.21, Wilks’ λ=.045, p=.053; P3: Χ 2 (171)=230.93, Wilks’ λ<.001, p=.001; P4: Χ 2 (152)=194.06, Wilks’ λ=.03, p=.012) demonstrating that FFA activity is sensitive to individual differences in these facial feature dimensions.
There was a significant trend towards TR expansions versus contractions ( χ 2 = 5.46, df = 1, P = 0.019).
Circulating HDL levels are reported to be associated with decreased AD risk, and we observed nominally significant and positive covariance with CSF Aβ42 (r g- =0.007, SE = 0.003, p = 1.96×10 −02 ) in our analysis, although this failed to pass the FDR-corrected significance threshold.
At both ages, relative improvement was noted as a result of hGPC treatment, although this effect failed to achieve significance in the older of the two R6/2 groups (36%, P <0.02; and 19%, P =0.068, respectively).
After TAC, heart weight/body weight ratio varied significantly between groups, though TAC comparisons within genotype did not reach statistical significance by Bonferroni post test ( p = 0.02, ANOVA, Ppp1r3a +/+ TAC vs.
The allelic effect on CXorf21 expression was only nominally significant when performing the cis -eQTL analyses in female individuals from Geuvadis RNA-Seq dataset in LCLs ( P = 0.02; linear-regression; Supplementary Fig. 2a ).
Comparing Pk1a maximum power across genotypes revealed a strong trend supporting the bootstrapped spectrum results (Fig. 6r ; uncorrected p -value = 0.02), with no apparent difference in Pk1b maximum power (Fig. 6t ) nor the center frequency of either subpeak (Fig. 6q, s ).
All methods except Pagel’s λ detected a marginally significant phylogenetic signal in the K. pneumoniae core genome (Supplementary Data 3 [first tab]; 0.11 > P > 0.02).
This single variant accounted for 76% of loss of function carriers and the CHEK2 association was nominally significant when it was excluded ( p = 0.02, effect = 0.18 SD).
We further investigated the psoriasis/CAD genetic correlation by applying LDSC to our case-control psoriasis GWAS (11,024 cases and 16,336 controls) and a large CAD GWAS (60,801 cases and 123,504 controls), which provided a nominally significant ( p = 0.02) genetic correlation ( r g = 0.11).
ACTR3_SEPEP.1_C4 was associated with the shared peptides, and it was lower in tumors compared with NATs with a marginal significance ( P = 0.02).
Accordingly, excluding area RL from the analysis revealed a decreasing trend in the trial-to-trial variability along the hierarchy in the high-frequency state ( S H : Pearson’s r with anatomical hierarchy score = -0.94, p = 0.02; S I : Pearson’s r = -0.43, p = 0.5, S L : Pearson’s r = -0.46, p = 0.4).
Given that several atherosclerosis risk factors have been associated with AS 6 , 18 , 19 , we tested the novel AS variants for association with the traditional cardiovascular risk factors and observed a nominally significant association ( P < 0.02) between rs1830321 and systolic and diastolic blood pressure in Iceland (Supplementary Data 3 ) and in data from the UK Biobank ( https://biobankengine.stanford.edu/search# ).
